You built the app.
Now make the ad.

zerotonero walks you from "here's my app" to a script, a shot list and an edit plan for TikTok, Reels, Shorts, YouTube and App Store previews — and teaches you why each shot is there.

Two tracks. That's the whole trick.

Every good promo runs on two tracks. The top one tells the story. The bottom one proves it. Here's a 20-second plan for a made-up habit tracker:

0s5s10s15s20s1234
A-roll
HookI built a habit tracker that forgives you for missing a day.
ProblemMost streak apps reset you to zero, and then you just quit.
SolutionHere, you tap 'rest day' and the streak bends instead of breaking.
ProofThis is my own streak, rest days and all.
CTAIt is free on iOS. Link in bio.
B-roll
close upA streak counter snapping from 41 back to 0
reactionYou, deadpan, staring at the reset counter
screen recordingTapping 'rest day': the flame dims but the number stays
close upZoom on the unbroken streak line in the calendar view
phone in handYour real phone scrolling months of history
text overlay'Free on iOS' next to the app icon
  1. 1s You set up the story; a close-up proves it within the first seconds.
  2. 7s Voiceover explains while the screen shows. Nobody has to imagine the UI.
  3. 13s Proof is footage, not adjectives.
  4. 18s The CTA is said and shown, so it lands with or without sound.
A-roll
The main story: you talking to camera, a voiceover, or the main screen-recording walkthrough.
B-roll
What you cut over it to show, prove or add energy: UI close-ups, screen-recording zooms, phone-in-hand, reactions, text overlays, motion graphics.
Hook
The first 1–3 seconds that stop the scroll.
CTA
The call to action: download, link in bio, try free.

Studio — make it

  1. Describe your app once; reuse it for every ad.
  2. Pick a goal, a format and a length.
  3. Choose from five angles that fit — Problem → Solution, founder story, before/after…
  4. Get a script in timed beats: Hook → Problem → Solution → Proof → CTA.
  5. Plan A-roll and B-roll on a two-track timeline. Drag, resize, swap.
  6. Shoot from a checklist grouped by setup; tick shots off as you go.
  7. Follow an edit plan in CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, Premiere or iMovie.

Academy — get good at it

Nine short lessons, each with a good-vs-bad timeline and a quick quiz. Then practise:

  • Fill the B-roll — plan the bottom track for a script and get graded.
  • Fix the hook — rewrite a limp opener.
  • Spot the problem — find what's wrong with a timeline.
  • Ad Review — score your own plan on Hook, Clarity, A/B balance, Pacing, Proof and CTA.

Turn on the Coach in Studio and every suggestion explains itself, with a link to the lesson behind it.

Every ad teaches you something

Your progress tracks lessons, exercise scores and reviews over time, and points you at the lesson for your weakest area. Plan, shoot, review, repeat — each ad a little better than the last.
